THANKS! You even came out in the rain!

Thankyou so much for making this a great sale!
With the big storm we had on Saturday, flooding roads and underpasses and many basements unfortunately, we were lucky to escape alot of the rain during the day and still had plenty of business.
Sunday, they were still shopping, picking their way through some of the lower soggy spots on the walk to the barn and joyfully leaving with their purchases!
Below is an album of pictures taken around the yard on Sunday, yes, it was a soggy Sunday, and the spring sale is now behind use, and we look forward to the coming fall sale and will be gathering all summer long, looking for the unique and beautiful antiques and collectibles that our sale is known for, along with our great prices.
See you in the fall!

GREAT TO SEE YOU ALL YESTERDAY!

We had a very busy opening day! Too busy to take many pictures!

There were some great bargains to be had in the Red Shed.......many were stopping on their way over to the barn and making themselves a "pile" to be picked up on the way out!
Outside the barn, beautiful set of handmade willow furniture......
And a vintage metal set of table and 6 chairs....
More, more, more in the Red Barn, see you there! Will try to get more pictures up later!

The geese in the yard know somethings up!! Well, we are back and forth, in and out, hauling in the goods! No wonder they are confused!
We're still working at it, but here's a whole batch of pictures for you to look at.
We still have to work at the Garden Shed and the Red Shed so watch for more pictures coming!

2010 SPRING SALE SPECIAL CONSIGNMENT

The Red Barn has been very fortunate to have some very old pieces consigned to us by a long time collector who is now downsizing.

These primitive kitchen gadgets and tools give us some insight into the life of our ancestors, during the 1800's and early 1900's. A lot of these items were hand made from local wood or made from forged metal , or what ever material was available.

It's a special treat to be able to offer these to our clientele. Below is a slide show of these wonderful primitives. Enjoy!
