THANKS FOR A GREAT SPRING SALE!

 

You may have seen this family on your walk over to the barn.

 



Thanks to all of you who came out to the Spring Sale at the Red Barn! It was a super successful sale, and we were happy to see our faithful longtime customers and also many new ones that were very impressed with our selection and prices and can't wait to come back in the fall.

So until then, happy antique hunting, that's what we'll be doing all summer long, finding what we know you will love to see at the sale.
By the way, did you know we have a WISH LIST?

We love to know what people want to see at the sale! So we keep a wish list, a list of items to watch for when we're out "shopping." There are items we may otherwise not pick up in our travels but if we know they are of interest to our customers, and we can pass them on at a reasonable price, we will pick them up and they'll be out there at the sale!

Just email theredbarn@shaw.ca to add anything to the WISH LIST! There is no obligation to purchase anything, but we'd like to have what you like to see available at the sale!

FRIDAY & ONLY ONE MORE DAY OF THE SALE!

Seems like we just opened the sale and as I post this, Friday is gone, and there's only one more day!

It's been so much fun all the way through the week and we've enjoyed our regular visitors and met so many lovely new visitors to the barn that were so happy they had taken the ride and are sorry they didn't know about the sale over the last few years!

Try to stop by Saturday, we'll be closing up at 5:00 p.m. and not re-opening until the fall for our fall sale.

Hope to see you tomorrow. There's still a great variety, we've been restocking all week, including today!

Wednesday came and went too quickly!

The sun was shining, the birds were singing,

the geese and gosslings relaxed in the shade......... it was a beautiful day to visit the Red Barn!

We've been restocking the barn and it's hard to keep up with the picture taking.

These pictures were taken this morning (Wednesday) but some of those items may not be there now, we had a nice steady stream of shoppers that left with arms full and a smile on their face.

As I was leaving mid afternoon, there was much unpacking of more boxes going on!

A GREAT OPENING EVENI

THE RAIN STAYED AWAY! ....for a good part of the evening!

We had a wonderful opening, and are busy restocking this morning before opening at 11:00.

Pictures below were taken last night, all may not be still available.

BUT THERE WILL BE LOTS MORE PUT OUT TODAY, so come on down!

We'll hope the rain lets up, but we will open regardless! We're looking forward to all our regular visitors and we'll welcome the new ones. See you tomorrow..........! 5:00 p.m.

5 MORE SLEEPS TIL WE OPEN

There's lots of work to be done over the next 5 days, but we will be ready to open as scheduled: 5:00 p.m. Monday, May 28th! It's unbelievable how it eventually all comes together! ......and it always looks so beautiful when it's set up!

We are loaded as usual with so much furniture and collectibles and we have more on hand to put out as items are sold! We just keep filling up those empty spots! You're sure to find that treasure that's just waiting for you!!

A big THANKYOU  to all of our regular patrons and the new collectors that made their way to our Fall Sale.

We will be out there, gathering again for another fabulous sale in the spring, the end of May or beginning of June. Watch this site, and make sure you get on our email list for a notice of the sale by emailing theredbarn@shaw.ca and requesting to be added to our email list.

The last day of the sale we were still adding items and shoppers were loading up their purchases and going home happy.

Another day gone by! There's still time to come out to the sale. Open tomorrow, Friday, 11:00 til 5:00, Saturday 11:00 til 5:00, then that's it til the Fall! 

You can see we are still moving items into the barn, a gorgeous Eastlake chair was making its way over this morning, and make sure you look at the beautiful matching set of antique headboard, footboard sets upstairs in the barn. That's not all, more furniture and smalls have been added and we still will be adding to the sale.

Make sure you stop by!

The pictures below were taken before the sale started, so many of the items have been sold but of course not all! We will be busy filling in the empty spaces tomorrow and the weather forecast is terrific, so make sure you get out for the sale, which ends Saturday.

We're getting there, almost ready for the doors to open tomorrow afternoon at 3:00. If you don't make it for the opening, don't worry, we'll be putting more out all week, filling in the empty spots. You never know what you will find on the days following the opening day! Come out more than once for sure!
